Definitely 5 stars!! Cute small and romantic venue just perfect for a romantic date! A Michelin star btw! The device was good the food just outstanding! The italian donut is fire; not too sweet, not plain and not too sugary is perfect ; you must try it. The octopus was cooked to perfection but I didn’t like was on a bed of beans; but I ate it either way. As an Appetizer we had the meatballs they were juicy And tasty and also Baked clams. Reservation is strongly recommended for weekends. My experience overall is rated 10/10

We moved to New Rochelle last year and this has become one of our favorite places in the area. Starting with the atmosphere and decor, the restaurant is warm and inviting, great music and lighting. The service is always excellent whether seated at a table or the bar. The cocktails are delicious and on point. And the food is just incredible. Traditional Italian dishes with modern twists and flavors that are incredibly complimentary. If you are lucky maybe you will get to meet the charming owner Giovanni whose experience in the hospitality and restaurant business is evidenced by this gem of a restaurant.

Want to Impress Your Taste Buds... Head to Maria’s! Maria’s is, without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Westchester. With Chef Gio at the helm, creativity and flavor go hand in hand. His consistent excellence has rightfully earned him numerous awards and he shows signs GETTING EVEN BETTER! This is where chefs go when they dine out. Some of our favorites...grilled octopus, gnocchi with oxtail ragu, and his ever-evolving curry dishes bursting with bold, refined flavors. The wine list is a journey in itself. Gio offers one of the most thoughtfully curated selections around. He’s incredibly knowledgeable without a hint of pretentiousness. He is happy to discuss his wine game and have you taste some incredible wine. Maria's team is on point masters in the hospitality industry were everyone is welcome and you feel at home.

I love Maria restaurant. I could close my eyes and point at a random item on the menu and know that I’ll love the food. Everything is delicious and the servers are friendly and attentive. It’s a small place so make sure you have a reservation.

I can see why everyone loves Maria in New Rochelle so much. We had the most delicious meal last night and because we were eight people, we were able to try many things. I’ll be dreaming about the eggplant fries, yellowfin tuna, beans under my octopus and farro under the fish... until I get there again and I also look forward to trying more dishes that you guys recommended. More info under photos. Also... I think they own Pop’s Espresso that is recommended here al the time. Can’t wait to try one day as well. Friendly and attentive service. They don’t have a kids menu but kindly accommodated my daughter with an off menu request. I had the spinach gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream which was divine! My husband had the pork chop parmigiana which he also loved. We both had the margarita from the cocktail menu, 5 stars! Overall, a great spot with an intimate setting perfect for families, date night, or a casual outing with friends. I would definitely go back.
